The new Temecula Valley Hospital is open and brings advanced technology, innovative programs, patient-centered and family sensitive care to area residents. As the region’s newest acute care facility, the hospital features 140 private patient rooms, 24 hour a day emergency care, advanced cardiac and stroke care, orthopedics and general medical care and surgical specialties.
Hospital CEO and managing director Darlene Wetton said bringing the new facility to the region involved a collaboration of architects, engineers and end users, including physicians, who focused on designing and building a facility that will meet the needs of the community today and well into the future.
The hospital is located at 31700 Temecula Parkway and opened on October 14th after it received licensure from the California Department of Public Health. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in July after construction was complete and the hospital received its certificate of occupancy. In August Wetton and the hospital staff hosted residents of the community at a special open house.
